What to Bring on a Yacht Charter in Dubai: A Packing Checklist
Most of what you actually need for a Dubai yacht charter comes down to sun protection and a few practical items — the yacht itself, safety equipment and crew are already covered.
What's already included
Captain, crew, fuel and safety equipment (life jackets, first aid) are included on every charter — you don't need to bring or arrange any of that. If you've added catering, water sports or a cake through us, those arrive already set up before you board.
What to bring
- Sunscreen — reef-safe if you're planning to swim, since a lot of Dubai's coastline is close to protected marine areas
- Sunglasses and a hat — the glare off open water is stronger than it looks from shore
- A change of clothes if you're planning to swim or use water sports add-ons
- A dry bag or waterproof phone case for photos near the water
- Cash or card for any extras you want to arrange on the day (drinks, tips)
Commonly forgotten
A portable phone charger — a full day on the water taking photos drains a phone faster than people expect, and there's no guarantee of a charging point on every yacht. Also worth bringing a light layer for the ride back if you're booking a sunset or evening charter, since it does cool down once the sun's fully down.
Before you book
