Yacht Rental Prices in Dubai: What Affects the Cost and How to Budget

One of the most common questions we get is simply: "how much does a yacht actually cost in Dubai?" The honest answer is that it varies a lot — but the factors that drive the price are consistent, so here's what to actually budget for.

1. Yacht size is the biggest factor

As a general guide:

• 40–55 ft yachts — the most affordable entry point, well suited to couples and small groups.
• 60–80 ft yachts — a step up in price, with more deck space and amenities for mid-size groups.
• 90 ft+ luxury yachts — the highest tier, with multiple decks, higher-end finishes and larger guest capacity.

2. Duration

Charters are usually priced per hour with a minimum booking window (often 2–3 hours), and the per-hour rate generally drops the longer you book. A full-day charter (6–8 hours) is almost always better value per hour than several short bookings.

3. Day of week and season

Weekends (Thursday evening through Saturday in the UAE) and public holidays are in higher demand and priced accordingly, and can book out further in advance. Weekday charters are often more flexible on price and availability. Peak tourist season (roughly October through April) also tends to be busier than the summer months.

4. What's included vs what's an add-on

Base pricing almost always includes the captain, crew, fuel and safety equipment. What's usually extra:

• Catering — from snack platters to a full private chef
• Alcohol and premium beverage packages
• Decoration for birthdays, proposals or weddings
• Photography or videography
• Entertainment such as a DJ
